Who to see at Truck Festival 2026: Silence & Sound’s ultimate guide to the UK’s most warped village fete

This heatwave has been ridiculous, yet at the time of writing it looks like it could be a real mix of weather this weekend, but festival season is in full swing and nothing will put a dampener on my mood when it’s officially the week of my favourite weekend of the year!
Easily one of my favourite places to be is in the fields of Truck Festival. Hosted annually at Hill Farm, Oxfordshire on the last weekend in July, Truck prides itself on being ‘the UK’s most warped village fete’, and there is no exaggeration there.
The festival is small enough to be able to run from one side to another to avoid those pesky clashes, yet big enough that it boasts nine areas hosting a range of the best current names on the indie scene, rising local bands, DJ sets, pub quizzes, stand-up comedy and even screenings of films such as Up, Madagascar and Flushed Away across the weekend.
It really is the only place where you could wake up with a showing of Chicken Run, mosh to a classical orchestra straight after, spend the afternoon discovering your new favourite band, do a pub quiz and watch Two Door Cinema Club headline the Truck Stage, before finishing the day with a Britpop Classics VS Harry Styles VS Taylor Swift silent disco.
Whether it’s your first year experiencing this beautifully chaotic weekend, or you’re a seasoned pro at pitching your tent and getting up early enough to catch Mr Motivator, I’ve put together a handy list of the acts you do not want to miss at this year’s Truck Festival.

FRIDAY 24TH JULY 2026
Daisy Peacock
This Feeling, 12:45-13:15
If infectious pop is your thing, Daisy Peacock is well worth adding to your Truck itinerary. Bursting with wit and heartfelt honesty, and with a confident stage presence, she blends her love for creative writing, singing, and 2010s female singer-songwriters into flirty, girl power-induced music. For anyone who is a fan of Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo, as well as rising stars Chloe Slater, Alessi Rose, and Nieve Ella.

SLAG
The Nest, 16:45-17:15
Brighton-based four-piece SLAG is an absolute must-see this weekend if you’re looking for attitude, wit and a little bit of chaos. The band’s sound is a high energy, danceable blend of angular riffs, sharp dynamics, and sudden shifts between tender and explosive sections, as well as mid-song rhythmic switch-ups, guaranteed to keep the audience on their toes.

Danny Mellin

Emerging indie star Danny Mellin is no stranger to Truck Festival. Hailing from Oxford, Danny is a fantastic local musician, bringing his band of best mates and indie-rock anthems to the stage for an infectious, high energy set on Friday. Bending timeless melodies with driving guitar riffs, he creates a sound which feels fresh and authentic within the indie scene. And having released his debut album Ideas Above My Station earlier this year, the future is bright for the rising star, and you’ll only regret it if you miss his set this weekend.

Good Health, Good Wealth
The Market Stage, 17:45-18:15
London’s Good Health Good Wealth have carved out a niche of their own, fusing indie, funk, hip-hop and dance into an effortlessly cool live show. Through their songs, the duo navigate modern life, exploring themes of love, money, sex, stereotypes and everyday life. Spreading unity and positivity in a landscape which feels increasingly bleak is what the band are all about, and their playful energy onstage is sure to win you over by the end. If you loved The Streets' headline set at Truck a couple of years ago, this is a set you cannot miss.

SATURDAY 25TH JULY 2025
Florence Road
Truck, 13:45-14:15
One of Ireland's fastest-rising indie bands, Florence Road pair shimmering guitar melodies with emotionally charged songwriting that feels tailor-made for festival singalongs. Blending elements of rock, indie, and pop with a fresh, modern twist, and candid, intimate songwriting, the band draw inspiration from the likes of The Cranberries, Wolf Alice, Fleetwood Mac, and Phoebe Bridgers, Florence Road are a band you must catch at Truck before they inevitably graduate to much bigger stages.

Brooki
The Market Stage, 14:15-14:45
Fellow Truckers, make sure on Saturday that as soon as you leave Florence Road’s set, you RUN to catch Brooki. Hailing from Dublin, Brooki deliver fuzzy alt-rock incorporating the honesty of Jeff Buckley, and grit of early PJ Harvey, into their own distinctive sound. If you’re a fan of Keo, then you’ve probably already seen them, as they carry the same emotional weight and relatability as Keo’s discography. If you're into the likes of Wolf Alice, don't miss this set!

Office Party channel the best bits of modern indie and '90s alternative into punchy, hook-filled anthems. Their infectious melodies and driving guitars make them an easy addition to any festival itinerary, especially if you're looking for your next favourite guitar band before everyone else catches on.

Saint Clair

Manchester's Saint Clair blend dreamy shoegaze textures with moody, distorted guitars, delivering songs that feel equally suited to late-night drives and packed festival fields. Their introspective songwriting and magnetic live performances have steadily earned them a growing following, making this an ideal opportunity to see them on the rise.

Picture Parlour
The Nest, 16:00-16:30
Fresh off of tour with One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, Picture Parlour are bringing swagger back to British guitar music. Mixing glam-rock confidence, bluesy riffs and indie cool, commanding live shows and effortlessly stylish sound, the band are arguably one of the most underrated around right now. A hidden gem of the weekend, but make sure you get down early as they’re on a criminally small stage!

Keo

With the emotional resonance of Jeff Buckley and Radiohead, paired with contemporary sonics reminiscent of Wunderhorse and Fontaines D.C., Keo needs no introduction. They’re quickly becoming one of the UK's hottest new indie-rock names, combining brooding verses with explosive choruses and an undeniable live intensity. If you have a Truck ticket, then you almost definitely are a fan already, so take this as your reminder not to miss them, rather than a recommendation.

Westside Cowboy

One of the UK's most exciting new guitar bands, Manchester's Westside Cowboy have been cultivating hype with their unique blend of indie rock, folk and Americana. Their heartfelt songwriting, rich harmonies and unpredictable live shows have earned them plenty of well-deserved buzz, and when you catch their set at this year's Truck, it will be easy to see why.
