Silence & Sound is the music blog for those with a love for new sounds run by me, Katie Hillier, a music journalist based in the south of England. 

 

Born back when I was in college, and after completing my first piece of English Language coursework (on music journalism) before having never considered music as a professional endeavour (despite the piles of music magazines on my bedroom floor), Silence & Sound is a place to share my passion for new music with like-minded readers. It’s also my favourite excuse as to why I keep spending all my money on gigs and signed album bundles (I’m a sucker for any limited edition bundle and quirky marketing campaigns). 

 

Here you will find the most exciting new sounds currently emerging from the indie and alternative scenes through album, song and live reviews, as well as exclusive artist interviews, and hopefully in the near-future, some live music photography (watch this space…)
